Safe Mode is a diagnostic mode that allows users to troubleshoot issues with their computer. Unfortunately, sometimes a computer may not start in Safe Mode, which can be frustrating. If you’re experiencing this issue, don’t worry! There are several steps you can take to fix your computer and get it running in Safe Mode.

Step 1: Restart Your Computer

The first step in fixing a computer that won’t start in Safe Mode is to restart your computer. Sometimes, a simple restart is all that’s needed to get your computer running in Safe Mode. To restart your computer, simply click the “Start” button and then click “Restart.”

Step 2: Use System Configuration

If restarting your computer doesn’t work, you can use System Configuration to boot your computer in Safe Mode. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Click the “Start” button and then type “msconfig” in the search box.
  2. Select “System Configuration” from the search results.
  3. Click on the “Boot” tab.
  4. Check the “Safe boot” option.
  5. Click “OK” and then restart your computer.

Your computer should now start in Safe Mode.

Step 3: Use the F8 Key

If your computer still won’t start in Safe Mode, you can try using the F8 key. Here’s how:

  1. Restart your computer.
  2. Press the F8 key repeatedly until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears.
  3. Use the arrow keys to select “Safe Mode” and then press Enter.

Your computer should now start in Safe Mode.

Step 4: Check Your Hardware

If none of the above steps work, it’s possible that there may be a hardware issue with your computer. Check to make sure that all of your hardware components are properly connected and functioning correctly. If you’re not comfortable checking your hardware yourself, consider taking your computer to a professional.

In conclusion, if your computer won’t start in Safe Mode, there are several steps you can take to fix the issue. From restarting your computer to checking your hardware, these steps should help you get your computer running in Safe Mode in no time.
