How to Export Your Apple Notes as PDF Files on Any Device

Apple Notes is a fantastic app that comes preinstalled on all Apple devices. It’s a convenient way to keep track of ideas, create to-do lists, and write notes. However, there might be a time when you want to share your notes with other people who don’t use an Apple device. Fortunately, exporting your Apple Notes as PDF files is a straightforward process that can be done on any device. Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Select the notes you want to export

To export your Apple notes as PDF files, you must first select the notes you want to export. You can either select individual notes or multiple notes. To select each note individually, swipe to the left on the note, and select the share icon. From there, you can select the ‘Export as PDF’ option. If you want to export multiple notes, tap on the edit button and select each note you want to export.

Step 2: Save to Files app

After selecting the notes, click on the ‘Share’ icon, and select the ‘Save to Files’ option. You can save to the local storage or your iCloud Drive. If you want to share the PDF with someone later on, you can easily upload it to cloud storage services like Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive.

Step 3: Choose the format and location

Once the ‘Save to Files’ option appears, you need to choose the format and location. Choose the PDF format if it is not already selected. You can also rename the file to make it easier to recognize, and store the file in a location that is easy to access.

Step 4: Export and share

Once you’ve saved the PDF file, you can open it in any PDF viewer, including Adobe Acrobat, Apple’s iBooks app, and many others. You can also share the file with other devices using email or instant messaging; send it as an attachment. By sharing the PDF file, you can easily send your notes to people without worrying about whether they have an Apple device or not.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
