Bixby is a digital assistant that comes pre-installed on Samsung devices. While some users find it helpful, others may find it intrusive or unnecessary. If you fall into the latter camp, you may be wondering how to disable Bixby. In this article, we will guide you through the steps required to disable this digital assistant.

Step One: Access Bixby Home

The first step is to access Bixby Home. You can do this by swiping right on the home screen or pressing the Bixby button located on the left-hand side of your device.

Step Two: Access Bixby Settings

Once you are in Bixby Home, tap the three-dot icon in the upper-right corner of the screen and select “Settings.”

Step Three: Disable Bixby Voice

In the Bixby settings menu, you will see an option labeled “Bixby Voice.” Tap this option, and then toggle the switch to turn off Bixby Voice.

Step Four: Disable Bixby Home

Next, you will want to disable Bixby Home. To do this, press the home screen until the edit mode appears. Swipe right until you reach Bixby Home, and then toggle the switch to turn it off.

Step Five: Disable Bixby Button

Finally, you can disable the Bixby button. Go to the Bixby settings menu, select “Bixby Key,” and then select “Double press to open Bixby.” Toggle the switch off to disable the Bixby button.

In conclusion, disabling Bixby is a simple process that can be done in just a few steps. By following these steps, you can remove this digital assistant from your Samsung device and enjoy a more streamlined user experience.
