As a Twitch user, you may have experienced the need to delete a clip that you have created or are featured in. Clips are short video snippets created by users that capture interesting or entertaining moments during live streams. However, with the volume of clips being generated on Twitch every day, it is important for users to learn how to delete clips that they no longer need or want on their channels.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to delete clips on Twitch:

Step 1: Sign in to your Twitch account

The first step to deleting clips on Twitch is to sign in to your account. Go to Twitch.tv and click on the “Sign In” button located at the top-right corner of the page. Enter your username and password, then click the “Sign In” button.

Step 2: Navigate to the Clips tab

Once you have successfully logged in to your account, the next step is to navigate to the Clips tab. To do this, click on your profile picture located at the top-right corner of the page and select “Creator Dashboard” from the drop-down menu. From the dashboard, click on the “Content” tab located on the left sidebar, then select “Clips”.

Step 3: Select the clip you want to delete

You will see a list of all the clips that you have created on Twitch. Click on the clip you want to delete to open it.

Step 4: Click the “Delete Clip” button

With the clip open, you will see a few options to the right of the screen. Locate the “Delete Clip” button and click on it. A dialogue box will appear asking you to confirm the deletion of the clip. Click “Yes” to proceed.

Step 5: Confirm the deletion

Once you click “Yes” to confirm the deletion of the clip, it will be removed from your channel. The clip will no longer be visible to your followers or viewers.

Note: If you are featured in a clip that was created by someone else, you will not have the option to delete it. However, you can request that the clip be removed by contacting Twitch’s support team.

In conclusion, deleting clips on Twitch is a straightforward process that can be done in just a few steps. By following the steps outlined in this article, you can easily manage the content on your channel and ensure that only the clips you want to keep are featured. Remember, it is always important to review and delete any clips that are no longer relevant or appropriate for your channel.
