Windows 11 has brought along a lot of visual changes, one of which is the brand new font that is used throughout the operating system. While the new font looks refreshing, there might be times when you want to customize it according to your preferences. Fortunately, Windows 11 lets you change the font style, size, and even the language. Here’s how to do it.

Changing the System Font

Windows 11 allows you to change the system font easily. Here are the steps to follow:

Step 1: Open the Settings app by pressing Windows key + I on your keyboard.

Step 2: Click on Personalization, located in the left sidebar.

Step 3: Select the Font option under the Customize your device section.

Step 4: You should see a list of installed fonts. To change the system font, simply select the font you want to use. Alternatively, click on the Get more fonts in Microsoft Store link if you want to download and install additional fonts.

Step 5: Once you’ve selected a font, you can also customize its size by choosing the appropriate size from the Font size drop-down menu.

Step 6: Hit the Back arrow, and your changes will be automatically saved.

Changing the Font Language

Windows 11 also allows you to customize the language settings for your fonts. Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Open the Settings app and click on Personalization.

Step 2: Choose the Font option under Customize your device.

Step 3: Scroll down the Font page until you see the Language font option. From the drop-down menu, select the language that you want to use.

Step 4: Once you’ve selected the language, the font settings will automatically change to reflect your choice.

Changing the Font Size

If you find the text on your display too small or too large, you can change the font size with the following steps:

Step 1: Open the Settings app and click on Personalization.

Step 2: Choose the Font option under Customize your device.

Step 3 : Scroll down to the Font Size section. You can adjust the font size by dragging the slider left or right.

Step 4: The new font size will be applied immediately.

Customizing Fonts on Individual Apps

If you want to change the font style for a specific app or application, you can do so by following these steps:

Step 1: Open the app whose font you want to change.

Step 2: From the app’s menu, look for an option that lets you customize the font. Different apps have different ways of handling font customization.

Step 3: Once you’ve found the font customization option, choose the font you want to use and adjust its size.

Step 4: Save your changes.
