Facebook is an excellent platform to interact with your friends, family, and followers. If you have a business page, having a Follow button on your Facebook can help your page reach a broader audience. By following your page, your fans will be notified of your latest posts and content. In this article, we’ll guide you on how to create a Follow Button on Facebook step by step.

Step 1: Log on to Facebook

The first step is to make sure you are logged in to your Facebook account. This will help you to easily navigate the site to create your follow button.

Step 2: Create a Facebook Page

If you haven’t created a Facebook page, now is the time to do so. To create a Facebook page, click on the “Create” button located at the top corner of your Facebook account.

Step 3: Navigate to the Settings

To create a Follow button, go to the settings page of your Facebook page. At the top right corner of your Facebook account, you will see an option that reads “Settings.” Click on it, and then click the “Edit Page” button appearing on the left sidebar.

Step 4: Enable Followers on Your Facebook Page

The next Step is to enable followers on your Facebook page. Once you click on “Edit Page,” navigate to the “Public” category and select the “General” option. Then scroll down to find the “Followers” option and click “edit.”

Once you enable followers, you’ll have the option to select who can follow your profile. The different options include public, friends, or specific friends. Once you have made a selection, click on “Save Changes.”

Step 5: Add a “Follow” Button on Your Facebook Page

After enabling followers, navigate to the “Your Page” tab once again and click on “Add a Button” located below your cover photo. Next, select the “Followers” option from the list and click “Next.”

In this step, you will have the option to choose where you want to redirect your followers when they click the follow button. You can choose to direct them to your Facebook page or an external website linked with your business. Once you’re done, click “Create.”

Step 6: Preview and Save

You’re almost there! This step is all about customizing your follow button. You can view a preview of your follow button, change the layout, color, and text of the button. Once you’ve customized it, click “Next.”

The final step is to save your changes. Once you click “Create Button,” the “Follow” button will appear on your Facebook page. And that’s it! Your Facebook page now has a follow button.

In conclusion, adding a Follow Button on Facebook is an excellent way to increase the visibility of your business or blog page. Ensure you have a Facebook page, enable followers, add the follow button, customize it to your preferences, and, voila! You have a follow button on your page. We hope this article has been helpful. Happy Facebooking!
