Converting a TIFF (Tagged Image File Format) image to a PDF (Portable Document Format) file can make it more universally compatible and easier to open, edit, or share. Follow these 15 steps to successfully convert your TIFF images into a PDF.

1. Find the TIFF file(s) you want to convert on your computer.

2. Create a new folder on your desktop or the location of your choice, where you will save the newly converted PDF files.

3. Download and install a TIFF-to-PDF conversion software. There are numerous free and paid software options available for different operating systems, such as Adobe Acrobat, XnConvert, or Smallpdf.

4. Launch the chosen conversion software on your computer.

5. If prompted, select ‘Convert’ or ‘Create PDF’ as the operation you’d like to perform.

6. Navigate to the location of the TIFF file(s) to be converted and select them as either individual files or in batches if multiple files need converting at once.

7. Drag and drop or use the ‘Add’ button to upload the selected TIFF file(s) into the conversion software interface.

8. Choose a destination folder for output PDF files, such as the folder you created in Step 2.

9. In most tools, you’ll be able to set specific preferences such as compression levels, page size, orientation, and metadata before conversion. Adjust settings according to your needs if necessary.

10. If working with multipage TIFF files, ensure that your converter supports this feature and enables you to create single-page or multipage PDF documents depending on your needs.

11. Double-check that all files and settings are correct before proceeding with the conversion process.

12. Click ‘Convert’, ‘Start’, or any similar button in your chosen converter tool to initiate the TIFF-to-PDF conversion process.

13. Wait for the conversion to complete. Depending on the file size and the number of files to be converted, this may take a few minutes.

14. Once completed, navigate to the destination folder you selected earlier and verify that the PDF files have been generated successfully.

15. Open and review converted PDF files to ensure they match your desired quality and formatting.

And there you have it—15 easy steps to convert TIFF files to PDF.
