With the release of the PlayStation 5, gamers all around the world can enjoy the latest generation of gaming. However, connecting your PS5 to hotel Wi-Fi when away from home can be a daunting task. In this article, we’ll provide you with a step-by-step guide to help you connect your PS5 to hotel Wi-Fi.

Step 1: Confirm Your Hotel’s Wi-Fi Policy

Before attempting to connect your PS5 to your hotel’s Wi-Fi, it’s important to first confirm your hotel’s Wi-Fi policy. Some hotels may have restrictions on gaming consoles or exceed allowable bandwidth usage, which may lead to additional fees or disconnections. Therefore, it’s always advisable to check with the hotel management and confirm the Wi-Fi policy before connecting your PS5 to the hotel’s network.

Step 2: Check Your Network Settings

To connect your PS5 to hotel Wi-Fi, you’ll need to check your network settings on your console. Start by navigating to the ‘Settings’ tab from the PS5 home screen. From here, select ‘Network,’ then ‘Set Up Internet Connection.’ Choose ‘Wi-Fi’ as your preferred connection type, then select ‘Custom’ when prompted.

Step 3: Input Wi-Fi Details

Once you’ve selected ‘Custom,’ you’ll be prompted to input your hotel Wi-Fi details. Enter the hotel’s Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password. If the hotel network has additional security measures such as a login page or password, you’ll need to input these details as well.

Step 4: Test Your Connection

After inputting all necessary details, you can test your connection by selecting the ‘Test Internet Connection’ option. If successful, your PS5 should display a ‘Succeeded’ message, and you’ll be connected to the hotel Wi-Fi.

Step 5: Enjoy Your Gaming

With your PS5 connected to the hotel Wi-Fi, you can now enjoy your gaming experience without any interruptions. You’ll also be able to access the latest updates, online multiplayer games, and download new games without any issues.
