Samsung’s Galaxy S10 series is one of the most popular smartphones in today’s market. It is packed with features that make it an ideal choice for both personal and professional use. However, regular usage of the device can lead to a build-up of unnecessary files and cached data, slowing down the device’s speed and performance. In this article, we’ll take a look at how to clear cache on Samsung S10.

Before we proceed, let us understand what cache is. Cache is a storage area that stores frequently accessed data so that the device can access it more quickly the next time it is requested. Cached data includes app data, browser history, system files, and more. Over time, this cache can accumulate and take up a significant amount of storage space, causing the device to slow down.

Clearing Cache on Samsung S10

To clear cache on S10, you can follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Access Device Settings

To clear the cache on your Samsung S10 device, you need to first access the device settings. You can do this by tapping on the gear-shaped icon located in the top-right corner of the home screen or the app drawer.

Step 2: Choose “Device Care”

In the device settings, scroll down and select the “Device Care” option. This option will show you the status of your device’s battery, storage, and memory.

Step 3: Select “Storage”

Under the Device Care section, select the “Storage” option. This will show you the amount of storage used and the available storage space on your device.

Step 4: Tap on “Clean Now”

Now, you can see the storage usage by each app installed on your device. Below, you will see the “Clean Now” option. Select this option and allow the device to scan for unnecessary files and cached data.

Step 5: Clear App Cache

After the scan is completed, select the “Clean” button to delete the cached data and unnecessary files. Alternatively, you can clear cache on an app-by-app basis by selecting the “Apps” option in the “Storage” section. Simply select the app you wish to clear cache for and tap on the “Clear Cache” option.

Final Thoughts

Clearing the cache on your Samsung S10 device is a simple task that can help improve the device’s speed and performance. With these easy steps, you should now be able to regularly clear cache on your S10 device and keep it running smoothly. By doing this regularly, you can free up storage space, reduce app crashes, and improve the overall performance of your device.
