Cleaning Calphalon cookware is essential to maintaining its performance and maximizing its lifespan. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to clean your Calphalon pots and pans with ease.

1. Cool down the cookware: Allow the Calphalon cookware to cool completely before attempting to wash it. Plunging a hot pan into cold water can cause warping or other damages.

2. Rinse with warm water: Rinse off any loose debris using warm water. This will help break down any food particles and grease on the surface of the cookware.

3. Use a gentle dish soap: Pick a mild dish soap designed for non-stick cookware, as abrasive soaps can damage the non-stick coating.

4. Soft sponge or cloth: Use a soft sponge or cloth to clean your cookware gently. Avoid using steel wool, scouring pads, or other abrasive materials that may scratch the non-stick surface.

5. Clean the interior: Apply a small amount of soap onto a sponge or cloth and gently scrub the inside of your Calphalon cookware. Focus on areas where food may have stuck, making sure to remove any residue thoroughly.

6. Clean the exterior: With another part of the sponge or cloth, clean the exterior of your cookware as well. This will ensure any grease, spatters, or stains are removed from all sides.

7. Rinse thoroughly: Once you have cleaned both the interior and exterior, rinse your Calphalon cookware with warm water until all soap residues are gone.

8. Dry immediately: To avoid water spots and maintain your cookware’s appearance, use a soft towel to dry it thoroughly before storing it away.

9. Use specialized cleaning products (optional): If your Calphalon has stubborn stains or burnt-on residue, you can use specialized cleaning products designed specifically for Calphalon cookware. Follow the product’s instructions closely and remember to rinse and dry your cookware well after using any cleaning agent.

10. Store properly: To protect your Calphalon cookware from scratches and damage, store it carefully. You can separate the pans using a soft cloth or parchment paper to prevent them from scratching each other when stacked together.

By following these 10 steps, you will keep your Calphalon cookware in top condition and prolong its life for many years of enjoyable cooking experiences.
