As one of the most popular social media platforms in the world, Facebook holds a vast amount of personal information about its users. Protecting your Facebook account with a strong password is essential to keep your data secure and safe from hackers. Therefore, it is essential to change your password periodically.

Here’s a step-by-step guide detailing how to change your Facebook password:

Step 1: Log in to Your Facebook Account

Go to Facebook.com and sign in using your email or phone number, and your existing password.

Step 2: Access Your Account Settings

Once you’ve logged in, click on the downward-facing arrow located in the upper-right corner of the main Facebook screen. Select the “Settings & Privacy” option and then choose “Settings.”

Step 3: Choose “Security and Login” Option

From the left-hand menu, select “Security and Login.” On the right side of the screen, you should see options to change your password, enable two-factor authentication, and other security settings.

Step 4: Change Your Password

In the “Security and Login” section, click “Change Password.” Enter your old password, and then type in a new one. Make sure your password is strong and difficult to guess.

Facebook, like many other websites, has some rules you need to follow when creating a new password. There are some essential things to keep in mind while creating your new password. You should use a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols, and your password should be at least eight characters long.

Step 5: Save Your New Password

After you have created your new password, click on the “Save Changes” button. Facebook will then ask you to log out of all devices. You don’t have to worry about logging out from Facebook on your computer, your phone, and your tablet individually. Facebook will do it automatically.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
