How to Cancel a Noom Subscription

Noom is a popular weight loss program that offers users personalized meal plans, coaching, and daily articles to support healthy habits. But sometimes, despite good intentions, members need to cancel their subscription. If you find yourself in this situation, don’t worry! Here’s a guide on how to cancel a Noom subscription.

Step 1: Know your subscription type

Before canceling your Noom subscription, make sure you understand what type of subscription you have. Noom offers different plans, including monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual subscriptions. Knowing what type of subscription you have will make the cancelation process much smoother.

Step 2: Cancel within the designated timeframe

Each type of subscription has its cancelation timeframe. Monthly subscriptions require a cancelation request at least 48 hours before the next billing cycle. Quarterly subscriptions require a cancelation request at least 5 days before the end of the period, while semi-annual and annual subscriptions require a cancelation request at least 14 days before the end of the period. If the cancelation request deadline has already passed, your account will continue on and you’ll only be able to cancel the next billing cycle.

Step 3: Send a cancelation request

To cancel a Noom subscription, you’ll need to send a cancelation request to their customer service team. You can contact them at [email protected] or through the Noom app. Be sure to include your name, email associated with the account and the reason for canceling. Noom customer service will then request your confirmation to cancel before proceeding. Once you give your approval, your subscription will be canceled.

Step 4: Confirm your cancelation

After you’ve requested to cancel your subscription, Noom will send an email confirmation. The email will confirm your subscription cancelation and provide information on the next steps if there are any pending charges on your account. Make sure you check your inbox (and spam folder) for this email to confirm that your cancelation was successful.

Step 5: Final check

Finally, check to make sure your subscription has indeed been canceled. If you see that your subscription has been extended and that you continue to get charged, contact Noom support again. You should always double-check to ensure things go according to plan.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
