Outlook Mail on the Web is a popular email service that allows you to send and receive emails from anywhere, anytime. It comes in handy when you want to keep track of your emails from different email accounts in one place.

However, there may be times when you receive unwanted emails from a particular domain. In such cases, you might want to block that particular domain to prevent further emails from reaching your inbox.

Here is how to block a domain in Outlook Mail on the Web.

Step 1:

Log in to your Outlook Mail on the Web account.

Step 2:

On the left side of the screen, you will see a list of folders. Click on the “Junk Email” folder.

Step 3:

Click on the “Options” button at the top of the screen.

Step 4:

In the “Options” menu, click on “Safe and blocked senders.”

Step 5:

Under the “Blocked Senders” section, click on the “+ Add” button.

Step 6:

Enter the domain name you want to block in the “Enter a sender or domain here” field. For example, if you want to block emails from abc.com, type “abc.com.”

Step 7:

Click on “Add to list” to block the domain.

Step 8:

You can also choose to block the domain only for a specific amount of time by selecting the “Block all emails for” option and choosing your preferred time frame.

Step 9:

Click on the “Save” button to apply the changes.

Congratulations! You have successfully blocked a domain from reaching your inbox in Outlook Mail on the Web.

Blocking a domain in Outlook Mail on the Web can help you keep your inbox organized and prevent unwanted emails from clogging up your mailbox. However, it’s important to note that this feature only works for emails from known senders. If you receive spam emails from unknown senders, you can report them as junk to help improve Outlook Mail’s spam filters.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
