Are you a fan of macOS’s hot corners feature and wish it was available in Windows 11? Well, good news – you can add this convenient feature to your Windows 11 desktop with just a few simple steps.

So, what is a hot corner? It’s an area on your computer screen that, when your mouse pointer hovers over it, triggers a specific action. For example, you can set a hot corner to show the desktop, launch the start menu or open the task view.

To get started on adding hot corners to your Windows 11 desktop, follow these steps:

Step 1: First, download and install the free software called “Hot Corners” from GitHub. You can find it by simply searching for “Hot Corners GitHub” on your preferred search engine.

Step 2: Once you have downloaded the software, extract the ZIP file and run the “HotCorners.exe” file.

Step 3: Now, you will see several options that you can customize, including “Top-Left Corner,” “Top-Right Corner,” “Bottom-Left Corner,” and “Bottom-Right Corner.” For each option, you can choose a specific action to trigger when the mouse pointer is positioned there, like launching the start menu or opening the task view.

Step 4: Choose your preferred actions by clicking on the dropdown menu and selecting the desired action. You can also set a custom shortcut key by clicking on the dropdown and selecting “Custom” then pressing the desired key combination.

Step 5: Once you have chosen your preferred settings, click on the “Apply Settings” button to save the changes.

Congratulations, you have successfully added the hot corners feature from macOS to your Windows 11 desktop.

In conclusion, adding hot corners to Windows 11 is a simple process that can greatly increase your productivity. By following these easy steps, you can enjoy the convenience of quickly accessing your preferred actions with just a simple mouse pointer move.
