When you create and share digital content, it’s crucial to incorporate a watermark to ensure ownership and avoid plagiarism. Microsoft Word provides features to add, remove, or change the watermark whenever needed. Here’s a guide on how to add, remove, or change a watermark in Microsoft Word.

Adding a Watermark in Microsoft Word
To add a watermark in Microsoft Word, follow these steps:

1. Open your Word document.

2. Click on the “Design” tab.

3. In the “Page Background” group, click on the “Watermark” dropdown menu.

4. Choose a preset watermark, or click on “Custom Watermark” to create your own.

5. If you choose a custom watermark, select either “Text” or “Picture,” and enter the desired text or choose a picture.

6. Customize the watermark by selecting the font, size, rotation, and position.

7. Click on “Apply” to add the watermark to your document.

Removing a Watermark in Microsoft Word
