Adding a web caption that stays with its image is an important aspect of web design. Captions can provide context and information about an image, which enhances the overall user experience. In this article, we will discuss how to add a web caption that stays with its image.

Step 1: Choose an Image

The first step in adding a web caption is to choose an image. It’s important to select an image that is relevant to the content on the page and is of high quality. Once you have chosen your image, you can move on to the next step.

Step 2: Add the Image to Your Webpage

The second step is to add the image to your webpage. You can do this by using the <img> tag in HTML. Here’s an example:

<img src=”image.jpg” alt=”Image Description”>

Make sure to specify the image source and add an alt attribute for accessibility purposes.

Step 3: Create the Caption

The next step is to create the caption. You can do this by using the <figure> and <figcaption> tags in HTML. Here’s an example:

1<figure>

2  <img src=”image.jpg” alt=”Image Description”>

3  <figcaption>Caption Here</figcaption>

4</figure>

The <figure> tag is used to group the image and caption together. The <figcaption> tag is used to create the caption. Make sure to add the caption text between the opening and closing tags.

Step 4: Style the Caption

The final step is to style the caption. You can do this using CSS. Here’s an example:

1figcaption {

2  font-size: 14px;

3  text-align: center;

4  margin-top: 10px;

5}

In this example, we have set the font size to 14 pixels, aligned the text to the center, and added a margin of 10 pixels on top.

And that’s it! By following these four simple steps, you can add a web caption that stays with its image. Remember to choose relevant images, add alt attributes for accessibility, and style the caption to match your webpage. Happy coding!
