Hotmail, now known as Outlook, is one of the most popular email service providers in the world. It offers a variety of features and functionalities to its users, including the ability to forward emails to different accounts. This is a useful feature for people who have multiple email accounts but want to manage them all from a single interface. In this article, we will discuss how to forward Hotmail emails to a different account.

Step 1: Sign in to Your Hotmail Account

The first step in forwarding emails from your Hotmail account to a different account is to sign in to your Hotmail account. You can do this by visiting www.outlook.com and entering your email address and password. Once you are logged in, you will see your inbox, and you can begin the process of forwarding your emails.

Step 2: Go to Settings

Once you are signed in to your Hotmail account, click on the gear icon in the top-right corner of the page. This will open a drop-down menu, where you will see an option for settings. Click on settings, and it will take you to the settings page.

Step 3: Go to Forwarding

On the settings page, you will see a list of options. Look for the “Forwarding” option and click on it. This will take you to the forwarding page, where you can set up your forwarding preferences.

Step 4: Select Forwarding Options

On the forwarding page, you will see several options for forwarding your emails. You can choose to forward all emails, only certain emails, or emails from specific people. You can also choose to keep a copy of the forwarded email in your Hotmail account or delete it from your account once it has been forwarded.

Step 5: Enter Your Forwarding Email Address

Once you have selected your forwarding options, enter the email address to which you want your emails to be forwarded. Make sure to enter the email address correctly so that you receive all forwarded emails.

Step 6: Save Your Settings

After you have entered your forwarding email address, click on the save button to save your settings. Your Hotmail emails will now be forwarded to the email address you entered.

Conclusion

Forwarding Hotmail emails to a different account is a simple process that can be done within a few minutes. The feature is particularly useful for people with multiple email accounts who want to manage them all from a single interface. By following the steps outlined in this article, anyone can easily set up email forwarding and start receiving their Hotmail emails in a different account.
