Telegram is a messaging app that is used by millions of people around the world. It allows users to communicate using text, voice, and video calls for free. If you are new to Telegram, you might be wondering how to add new contacts to the app. In this article, we will guide you on how to add a new contact on Telegram.

Step 1: Open Telegram

To add a new contact on Telegram, you need to first open the app on your device. You can do this by tapping on the Telegram icon on your smartphone or tablet.

Step 2: Tap on “Contacts”

Once the app is open, you will see different tabs at the bottom of the screen. Tap on the “Contacts” tab, which is the second one from the left.

Step 3: Tap “New Contact”

After you have entered the contacts page, tap the “New Contact” button, which is located in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

Step 4: Enter Contact Information

Once you have clicked on “New Contact,” you will need to fill out the contact information form. Start by entering the person’s name and their phone number. You can also add an optional profile picture for the contact.

Step 5: Save the Contact

After you have entered all the necessary information, double-check the details to make sure they are accurate, and then tap “Save” to add the new contact to your list.

Step 6: Find and Chat with Your New Contact

Now that you have added your new contact, you can find and chat with them by going to the “Contacts” tab and selecting their name.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
