The PlayStation 5 (PS5) is one of the most hotly anticipated gaming consoles in recent years. It was released on November 12, 2020, and has since garnered a lot of attention. One question that many gamers are asking is, “How big is the PlayStation 5 exactly?”

To answer this question, we need to consider both the size of the console itself and its accompanying accessories.

The PS5 console measures approximately 39 cm in length, 26 cm in height, and 10.4 cm in width. It is significantly larger than its predecessor, the PS4, which measured around 30 cm in length, 5 cm in height, and 27 cm in width. The PS5’s size is partly due to its powerful hardware, which includes custom AMD Zen 2 CPU and RDNA 2 GPU, as well as an 825 GB SSD.

In addition to the console, the PS5 also comes with several accessories that add to its overall size. The DualSense controller, for instance, measures around 16 cm in length, 10 cm in width, and 6 cm in height. It has a unique shape and design that enhances the gaming experience, including haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and a built-in microphone.

Another accessory that adds to the overall size of the PS5 is the HD camera, which measures around 10 cm in length, 3.5 cm in width, and 2.7 cm in height. The camera allows gamers to broadcast themselves while playing, as well as enable voice and face recognition.

The PS5 also comes with a stand, which is used to position the console vertically or horizontally. The vertical stand measures around 4.1 cm in height, 4.9 cm in width, and 20.4 cm in length. The horizontal stand measures approximately 27.7 cm in length, 9.2 cm in width, and 1.5 cm in height.

In conclusion, the PlayStation 5 is a relatively large console, measuring around 39 cm in length, 26 cm in height, and 10.4 cm in width. Its size is partly due to its powerful hardware, which includes a custom AMD Zen 2 CPU, RDNA 2 GPU, and an 825 GB SSD. The console is accompanied by several accessories, including the DualSense controller, HD camera, and stand, which add to its overall size. Despite its size, the PS5 is a highly anticipated gaming console that is sure to provide hours of entertainment.
