Get Your Comforters to Dry Faster and Fluffier with this Sports Item

Have you ever struggled to dry your large comforters or have them come out of the dryer clumpy and flat? Don’t worry; we have a life hack for you! By using a common sports item – tennis balls – you can dry your comforters faster and fluffier.

Tennis balls may seem like an odd choice, but their primary purpose in this scenario is to keep the comforter from bunching up while in the tumbling dryer. The tennis balls move around, breaking up any clumps that might form as the comforter dries. They also help ensure that the filling is evenly distributed throughout the bedding, giving it a full and fluffy appearance.

To properly use tennis balls while drying your comforter, follow these simple steps:

1. Clean the tennis balls: Make sure they are free of dirt and debris before tossing them into the dryer. You don’t want to transfer any grime onto your freshly washed comforter.

2. Place 2-3 tennis balls in a clean sock or pillowcase: This will prevent any potential discoloration from the tennis ball dye transferring to your comforter during the drying process.

3. Load the comforter into the dryer: Be sure not to overcrowd the dryer, as this can hinder proper airflow and cause your comforter to dry unevenly.

4. Add the encased tennis balls in with your comforter: Make sure to evenly distribute them around the drum for better results.

5. Choose a low heat setting: This will prevent shrinkage and damage to your comforter’s fabric.

6. Allow ample time for drying: While the tennis balls will help speed up drying time, large comforters may still require several hours to dry thoroughly. Check periodically, rearrange if needed, and add more time as necessary.

Once completely dry, your comforter should feel more fluffy and evenly distributed than before. In addition to the improved finished product, you’ll appreciate the time saved in the drying process.

So, next time you’re washing your comforter, toss in some tennis balls to ensure a faster drying, fluffier result. This simple trick works wonders for enhancing the quality of your bedding and prolonging its life. Don’t let laundry day be a chore – make it better with this sports item!
