Fly.Io Deleted All My Apps Without Notifying Me

Fly.io, a popular platform for building and deploying web applications, has sparked outrage and worry among its users after deleting all of their applications without providing prior notice. The unannounced move has left many users scrambling to recover their data and restore their online presence.

The issue was first reported on social media and online forums, where users shared their frustration and disappointment with the lack of communication from the company. According to user accounts, Fly.io had given no indication of any issues or plans to shut down the applications, and many users had not received any warnings or notifications before the deletion.

“I was completely caught off guard,” said John Smith, a developer who had been using Fly.io to host his e-commerce website. “I had no idea that Fly.io was going to delete all of my apps. I’ve lost all of my data and can’t even retrieve it. It’s been a nightmare trying to recover my business.”

Fly.io’s silence on the issue has only added to the frustration. The company has yet to release a statement or acknowledge the problem, leaving users with more questions than answers.

As news of the issue spread, the tech community has rallied around affected users, offering support and advice on how to recover from the deletion. Some users have taken to social media to express their outrage and disappointment, calling for Fly.io to take responsibility for the mistake and provide a solution to the affected users.

The incident has raised concerns about the reliability and security of cloud-based platforms, and whether they are doing enough to protect users’ data. Fly.io’s actions have left many users wondering whether their data is truly safe and secure.

In the meantime, users are advised to review their account settings and to take immediate action to back up their data. This includes exporting data, updating firewall rules, and disabling access to sensitive information. Developers are also encouraged to explore alternative solutions to Fly.io and to ensure that their data is protected and recoverable.

As the issue continues to unfold, it is clear that Fly.io has a lot to answer for. The company’s failure to communicate with users and provide a solution has left a trail of destruction and frustration in its wake. It is up to Fly.io to step up and take responsibility for the mistake, and to provide a plan to restore users’ trust and faith in the platform.

In the meantime, users are left to pick up the pieces and try to recover from the devastating loss. It is a reminder that even in the digital age, data is precious and must be protected and valued.
