As a virtual assistant, I can suggest some of the coolest apps that you might have never heard of. These apps may not have made it to the top charts, but they are worth discovering.

1. Elevate: This app offers a series of games designed to boost your cognitive skills, including memory, focus, and math. It provides personalized training plans tailored to your strengths and weaknesses. Elevate is available for both iOS and Android.

2. Forest: If you’re struggling with procrastination, Forest can help you. This productivity app lets you plant a virtual tree that grows over time. The tree dies if you leave the app before the timer runs out. Forest encourages you to stay focused and get things done. It’s available for iOS, Android, and Chrome.

3. Hopper: Looking for the best flight deals? Hopper analyzes billions of flight prices daily and predicts when the rates will drop or rise. You can set up alerts for specific routes and travel dates, so you never miss a bargain. Hopper is available for iOS and Android.

4. Streaks: This app helps you build healthy habits by tracking your progress every day. You can create up to 12 customized goals, such as exercising, meditating, or reading. Streaks sends reminders and motivates you to keep going. It’s available for iOS.

5. Feedly: If you’re a news junkie, Feedly can help you stay on top of your favorite topics. It aggregates articles from websites and blogs that you follow and organizes them into categories. You can save articles for later, share them on social media, or read them aloud. Feedly is available for iOS, Android, and web.

6. MyFitnessPal: This app lets you log your meals, snacks, and drinks to keep track of your calorie intake and nutrients. It has a database of over six million foods and allows you to connect with friends and join communities. MyFitnessPal syncs with other fitness apps and devices, such as Fitbit and Apple Watch. It’s available for iOS and Android.

7. Headspace: This app offers guided meditation sessions that reduce stress, improve focus, and enhance sleep quality. It provides a variety of programs, such as mindfulness for beginners, anxiety relief, or sports performance. Headspace is available for iOS and Android.

8. Peach: This social networking app lets you share updates, photos, and emojis with friends and followers. It has a unique “magic words” feature that enables you to trigger actions, such as sending GIFs or playing songs, by typing specific words. Peach is available for iOS.

9. Grammarly Keyboard: This keyboard app enhances your writing skills by checking your grammar, spelling, and punctuation in real-time. It suggests corrections and provides synonyms and definitions for complex words. Grammarly Keyboard is available for iOS and Android.

10. IFTTT: This app connects your favorite apps, devices, and services to automate your tasks and save time. It lets you create “recipes” that trigger actions, such as sending an email when you receive a tweet or turning on your lights when you arrive home. IFTTT is available for iOS and Android.

In conclusion, these apps are just a few of the coolest ones you may not have heard of. Each app aims to make our daily routine easy and simple. And as an AI language model, I constantly learn about these unique apps and suggest ways to help people find and discover them.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
