A general guide and comparison of the different models to help you decide which one is right for you.

1. MacBook Air: The MacBook Air is a lightweight and ultra-portable laptop that’s perfect for students and professionals on the go. It has a long battery life and features a 13-inch Retina display. The MacBook Air is available in three colors and starts at $999.

2. MacBook Pro: The MacBook Pro is a more powerful laptop that’s ideal for professionals who need to run demanding programs. It comes in two sizes (13-inch and 16-inch) with a Retina display and includes features like Touch ID, Touch Bar, and four Thunderbolt 3 ports. The MacBook Pro starts at $1299.

3. iMac: The iMac is a desktop computer that’s ideal for creatives who need a large display and powerful processing abilities. The iMac comes in two sizes (21.5-inch and 27-inch) with a Retina display and includes features like the Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse. The iMac starts at $1099.

4. Mac mini: The Mac mini is a compact desktop computer that’s ideal for those who already have a display, keyboard, and mouse. It has a compact design and has a powerful processor. The Mac mini starts at $699.

When choosing which Mac is right for you, consider how you will use it and your budget. If you prioritize portability, a MacBook Air might be the best option. If you need power for demanding programs, a MacBook Pro or iMac may be more suitable. If you already have peripherals like a display and keyboard, the Mac mini might be a cost-effective solution.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
