Founded in 2016, Clearcover is an up-and-coming insurance company that uses cutting-edge technology to simplify the car insurance process. Priding itself on its customer-centric approach, Clearcover aims to provide affordable and easy-to-manage auto insurance policies. In this article, we will cover everything you need to know about Clearcover Insurance.

1. Digital-first Approach

Clearcover has set itself apart by adopting a digital-first approach in providing car insurance services. This means that the company utilizes technology to streamline the application process, provide seamless policy management, and offer a user-friendly online platform for policyholders. The digital-first approach not only makes the process smoother but also contributes to reduced overhead costs, which is ultimately passed as savings to the customer.

2. Coverage Options

Like most standard auto insurance companies, Clearcover provides a wide array of coverage options. These include liability coverage (bodily injury and property damage), collision coverage, comprehensive coverage, uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage, medical payments coverage, and personal injury protection (PIP). Riders can also opt for additional rental car reimbursement and roadside assistance plans.

3. Pricing

Affordability is one of Clearcover’s main selling points. By leveraging technology and focusing on automation, the company manages to maintain lower operational costs, leading to more affordable premiums for policyholders. Although prices will vary depending on factors like location, age, driving history, and vehicle type, several customer reviews reveal that Clearcover offers competitive rates.

4. Claims Process

Filing a claim with Clearcover is made effortless with their intuitive mobile app and online portal. In case of an accident or incident requiring a claim submission, policyholders can use the app or website to provide necessary information like photos of damage and other relevant details. Once submitted, claims are generally processed quickly with most resolved within several weeks.

5. Availability

As a relatively new insurance provider, Clearcover is not yet available in all states. Currently, they provide coverage in select states, including Arizona, California, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin. However, the company actively seeks to expand its operation and plans to add more states in the future.

6. Customer Service

Clearcover has received mixed reviews regarding its customer service. Some policyholders appreciate the quick response times and helpful agents, while others have complained about difficulties reaching a representative or discrepancies in premium quotes. Nonetheless, the company’s digital-first approach allows for streamlined communication channels like live chat and email support.

In summary, Clearcover Insurance is an innovative player in the auto insurance industry with its digital-first strategy and focus on affordability. Prospective policyholders who prioritize competitive pricing and are comfortable managing their policy online may find Clearcover a suitable choice. However, as with any insurance decision, it’s crucial to compare multiple providers and consider factors like coverage availability and customer service before making a commitment.
