Books are always considered as a great source of knowledge and entertainment. However, buying books can be expensive and not everyone can afford them. Fortunately, there are some ways to get free books without spending a penny. Here are some of the best ways to get free books:

  1. Public Libraries

Public libraries are the best place to get free books. Most libraries have a large collection of books and they offer them for free. You can borrow books from the library for a certain period of time and return them when you are done. If the library does not have the book you need, you can request it and they may be able to get it for you.

  1. Overdrive

Overdrive is a website that offers free eBooks and audiobooks. All you need is a library card, and you can access thousands of books for free. Overdrive is compatible with most devices, so you can read or listen to books on your phone, tablet or computer.

  1. Project Gutenberg

Project Gutenberg is a digital library that offers over 60,000 free eBooks. The books on Project Gutenberg are mostly classics that are in the public domain. You can download the books as PDFs or eBooks and read them on your device or print them out.

  1. Book Swaps

Book swaps are a great way to get free books and interact with other book lovers. You can organize a book swap with your friends or you can participate in online book swaps. Websites like Paperback Swap and BookMooch allow you to trade books with other people for free.

  1. Little Free Libraries

Little Free Libraries are small wooden boxes that are filled with books. They are usually located in public places, such as parks, cafes, and neighborhoods. You can take a book from the Little Free Library and leave one in return.

  1. Free-eBooks.net

Free-eBooks.net is a website that offers a variety of free eBooks on various topics. The website has books from many genres, including fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books. You can download the books to your device and read them offline.

In conclusion, there are many ways to get free books without having to spend any money. Whether it’s borrowing books from the library, downloading free eBooks, or participating in book swaps, there are plenty of options available for book lovers.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
