Best Toasted Ravioli Recipe: How To Make Toasted Ravioli

If you’re looking for a delicious and easy appetizer, look no further than toasted ravioli. This crispy, golden brown treat is the perfect finger food for any gathering. With a little effort, you can impress your friends and family with these scrumptious bites. Follow this best toasted ravioli recipe and learn how to make toasted ravioli like a pro.

Ingredients:

– 1 package (16 oz) of fresh or frozen cheese ravioli

– 2 cups Italian seasoned breadcrumbs

– 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 2 large eggs

– 1/4 cup milk

– Vegetable oil, for frying

– Your favorite marinara sauce, for dipping

Instructions:

1. If using frozen ravioli, allow it to thaw completely before starting the recipe.

2. In a shallow bowl or pie plate, combine the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese. Mix well to ensure proper distribution.

3. In another shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until smooth.

4. Place a wire cooling rack on top of a baking sheet, this will be used later to place the breaded ravioli on.

5. Working with one piece of ravioli at a time, dip it into the egg mixture, making sure both sides are coated evenly. Let any excess egg drip off before proceeding.

6. Next, coat the ravioli with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing it gently on each side to make sure it adheres well. Place the breaded ravioli onto the wire cooling rack.

7. Repeat step 5 and 6 with the remaining raviolis.

8. Allow breaded raviolis to rest for about 10 minutes before frying; this will help adhere the breading better.

9. Fill a deep skillet or frying pan with about 1-2 inches of vegetable oil. Heat the oil to 375°F (190°C) as measured by an instant-read food thermometer.

10. Fry the ravioli in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the skillet, for 1-2 minutes per side or until they become golden brown and crispy.

11. Use a slotted spoon to remove the ravioli from the oil, and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

12. Allow the ravioli to cool slightly before serving, and serve them alongside your favorite marinara sauce for dipping.
