Horror movies have always been a popular source of entertainment for thrill-seekers around the world. The good news is that these days, there are many options available for watching your favorite horror movies online for free. In this article, we will take a look at some of the best sites to watch horror movies online for free in 2021.
1. Crackle – Owned by Sony, Crackle offers a wide selection of horror movies that can be watched for free. Although the ads can sometimes be a bit annoying, the platform is still one of the most reliable sites for streaming horror movies.

2. Tubi – Tubi is a free, ad-supported streaming service that offers a large selection of horror movies. The app is compatible with virtually all devices, including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Xbox, and PlayStation.

3. Popcornflix – Popcornflix is another free streaming service that offers high-quality horror films, including classic horror movies, indie films, and international productions. The website is user-friendly, and the movies are arranged according to genres.

4. Vudu – Although Vudu isn’t entirely free, there is a significant selection of horror movies that can be watched for free with ads. The quality of the films is excellent, and the interface is user-friendly.

5. Shudder – Shudder is the go-to destination for anyone looking for a more extensive selection of horror movies. Although the site isn’t entirely free, they offer a seven-day trial period, which should be enough time to watch some of the site’s most popular titles.

6. YouTube – Although YouTube is not specifically designed for streaming horror movies, many independent filmmakers release their horror movies on the platform.
7. IMDb TV – IMDb may be best known as the platform for movie ratings, but they also offer a streaming service known as IMDb TV, which offers a large selection of ad-supported horror movies.

8. Kanopy – Kanopy is a streaming platform that is available for free through many public libraries. The movies available on the site are high-quality, and the horror film selection is impressive.

9. 123Movies – Although 123Movies is not entirely legal, it remains a popular site for streaming horror movies. They have a vast selection, and new releases are added regularly.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
