The iPad has become more than just a device for adults. With its large screen and touch interface, it has proved to be a great learning tool and entertainment device for kids of all ages. Apple has also made it easier for parents to monitor what their kids are playing and limit their screen time.

There are thousands of games available on the App Store, but not all of them are appropriate for kids. So, we have compiled a list of the best iPad games that are both entertaining and educational for kids of all ages.

  1. Minecraft

Minecraft is a popular game that lets kids explore and create their own virtual world. They can build houses, castles, and even entire towns using different materials like wood, stone, and iron. It’s a great game for developing creativity, problem-solving skills, and strategic thinking.

  1. Toca Life

Toca Life is a series of games that let kids explore different environments, like a city, a farm, and a school. Each game has different characters and scenarios, and kids can interact with them by using various tools and objects. It’s a great game for inspiring creativity and imagination.

  1. Plants vs. Zombies

Plants vs. Zombies is a fun game where kids have to defend their home from zombies by planting different types of plants. Each plant has a unique ability, such as shooting peas or launching watermelons. It’s a great game for developing strategy and hand-eye coordination.

  1. Fruit Ninja

Fruit Ninja is a casual game where kids have to slice different types of fruit using a virtual sword. It’s a great game for developing hand-eye coordination and reflexes.

  1. Angry Birds

Angry Birds is a classic game where kids have to launch birds at pigs to rescue their eggs. Each bird has a unique ability, such as splitting into three or exploding. It’s a great game for developing strategy and problem-solving skills.

  1. Endless Alphabet

Endless Alphabet is an educational game that teaches kids how to spell and pronounce words. Each word is accompanied by a cute monster, and kids have to drag and drop the letters to form the correct word.

  1. Duolingo

These are just a few examples of the best iPad games for kids of all ages. However, it’s important for parents to monitor their child’s screen time and ensure that they are playing appropriate games that will help them to learn and develop. With the right guidance, the iPad can be a wonderful tool for education and entertainment.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
