The Apple iPhone 12 and Samsung Galaxy S20 are two of the most popular smartphones on the market today. Both devices offer high-end features and impressive specs, making it difficult to choose between the two. In this article, we will compare the iPhone 12 and Galaxy S20 to help you decide which phone is right for you.

Design:

The iPhone 12 has a sleek design with a flat edge and a ceramic shield front cover that is said to be four times more durable than previous iPhone models. The device comes in five colors: black, white, red, green, and blue.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 has a more curved design with a glass back and metal frame. It comes in three colors: cloud blue, cosmic gray, and cloud pink.

Display:

The iPhone 12 has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a resolution of 2532 x 1170 pixels. The screen has a high contrast ratio, HDR support, and a peak brightness of 1200 nits.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 has a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels. The screen has a high refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1200 nits.

Camera:

The iPhone 12 has a dual-camera setup, consisting of a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 12-megapixel wide camera. The device supports night mode, deep fusion, and smart HDR 3.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 has a triple-camera setup, consisting of a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 12-megapixel wide camera, and a 64-megapixel telephoto camera. The device supports night mode, super-resolution zoom, and 8K video recording.

Performance:

The iPhone 12 is powered by Apple’s A14 Bionic chip, which is the fastest chip in any smartphone. The device has 4GB of RAM and comes in three storage options: 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 chip (in the US) or Samsung’s own Exynos 990 chip (in other regions). The device has 12GB of RAM and comes in one storage option: 128GB.

Battery life:

The iPhone 12 has a 2815mAh battery, which provides up to 17 hours of talk time or up to 65 hours of audio playback.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 has a 4000mAh battery, which provides up to 14 hours of talk time or up to 69 hours of audio playback.

Conclusion:

Both the Apple iPhone 12 and Samsung Galaxy S20 are excellent smartphones with high-end features and impressive specs. The iPhone 12 has a sleek design, a powerful chip, and a great camera, while the Galaxy S20 has a curved design, a high refresh rate display, and a great camera with a telephoto lens. Ultimately, the decision between these two phones will come down to personal preference and which features are most important to you.
