Alexa Won’t Connect to Wi-Fi? A Troubleshooting Guide to Fix It

Alexa is a personal assistant that can make your life easier. From setting reminders to ordering groceries, Alexa can do it all. But what happens when Alexa won’t connect to Wi-Fi? It can be frustrating and prevent Alexa from performing its functions. However, there are a few things you can try to fix this issue.
Check Wi-Fi Connection
The first thing to do is to check your Wi-Fi connection. Make sure your Wi-Fi network is working properly. Check if other devices are connected to the Wi-Fi network. If you have access to another device, try connecting it to Wi-Fi to see if it works.
Check the Alexa device
If your Wi-Fi connection is working properly, the next step is to check your Alexa device. Make sure it’s properly connected to the power supply and turned on. Make sure the device is not too far from the router, as this might be the cause of the connection problem.
Restart the Router
Restarting your router can help fix the Wi-Fi connectivity issue. Turn off your router and unplug it. Wait for 30 seconds and plug it back in. Wait for the router to restart, then try connecting Alexa to your Wi-Fi network.
Reset Alexa Device
If the previous steps didn’t fix the connectivity issue, try resetting your Alexa device. Press and hold the Action button for about 20 seconds, until the light ring on the device turns off and then back on. Once you see the Alexa device restart, try to connect it to Wi-Fi again.
Check Wi-Fi Password
Another possible cause of connectivity issues could be a Wi-Fi password problem. Verify that the Wi-Fi password is correct. Also, ensure that the Wi-Fi is broadcasting, and the network is not hidden.
Contact Customer Care
If you have tried all the troubleshooting steps and your Alexa device still won’t connect to Wi-Fi, contact customer support. They will be able to assist you in resolving the issue.
