If you frequently send and receive emails in Yahoo Mail, adding contacts to your address book can save you time and hassle. You won’t need to remember their email addresses each time you need to send them an email. Here’s how to add a sender or recipient to your Yahoo Mail contacts.

Adding a Sender to Your Yahoo Mail Contacts

If you receive an email from someone who is not yet in your contacts, you can quickly add them using the following steps:

1. Open the email from the sender you want to add to your contacts.

2. Hover over their name or email address in the email header. A pop-up window will appear with their contact information.

3. Click “Add to contacts” to open the “Add a contact” window.

4. Fill in their contact information, such as name, email address, phone number, and any other details you want to include.

5. Click the “Save” button to add the contact to your Yahoo Mail address book.

Adding a Recipient to Your Yahoo Mail Contacts

If you’ve sent an email to someone who is not yet in your contacts, Yahoo Mail allows you to easily add them using the following steps:

1. Open the email you sent to the recipient you want to add to your contacts.

2. Click on the recipient’s name or email address in the email header. This will open the “Add a contact” window.

3. Fill in their contact information, such as name, email address, phone number, and any other details you want to include.

4. Click the “Save” button to add the contact to your Yahoo Mail address book.

Editing or Removing Contacts

If you need to edit or remove a contact in your Yahoo Mail address book, follow these steps:

1. Click on the “Contacts” icon located on the left-hand side of your Yahoo Mail inbox.

2. Find the contact you want to edit or delete from the list.

3. Click on the contact’s name to open the contact details.

4. To edit the contact information, click on the “Edit” button and make the necessary changes in the “Edit a contact” window.

5. To delete the contact, click on the “Delete” button and confirm your action.

Using a Yahoo Mail address book can save you time and effort when sending emails. Follow the steps above to add contacts easily, so you won’t need to remember all of their email addresses.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
