A Beginner’s Guide to BeReal, the Hottest New Social Media App

Spread the love

BeReal is the hottest new social media app that has been gaining traction among users who want to share their everyday life experiences in real-time with their friends and family. BeReal is a free social media app that is available for both Android and iOS users. Unlike other social media apps that are designed to glamorize or filter the user’s life, BeReal provides a platform where users can share real and authentic moments without any pressure of trying to paint an artificially perfect picture of themselves.

Here’s a beginner’s guide to using BeReal.

Signing Up

To get started with BeReal, first, you need to download the app from the Play Store or the App Store. Once installed, sign up for a new account with your email address or phone number. After registering, you will be prompted to create a username and password for your account.

Setting Up your Profile

The next step is to customize your profile. You can upload a profile picture, add a short bio, and connect with various social media apps like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and others. Your profile is visible to everyone, so make sure it represents yourself authentically.

Navigating the App

The app’s user interface is designed to be user-friendly, with the home screen displaying your friend’s feed updates, and your profile allows you to upload your pictures and videos to share with your followers. You can explore others’ perks, follow them, or like their posts.

Posting regular updates

The main reason for using BeReal is to share your real-life moments with your friends and family. You can upload pictures or videos and add captions that describe what you are doing or feeling at that moment. Whether it’s sharing your morning coffee time, your workout session in the park, or your pet’s playful moments, BeReal allows you to share real-time content with your loved ones.

Connecting with Friends

BeReal is the perfect place to connect with your friends and family members. You can find your friends by syncing your phone book or by connecting your Facebook account with the app. Once you have found your friends, you can interact with them by liking, commenting, or sharing their content.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
