If you use iMessage regularly, you might find that you have a lot of iMessage apps installed on your iPhone or iPad. While some of these apps can be useful for sending stickers, playing games, or sharing content, others can be unnecessary clutter that you never use. Thankfully, it’s easy to hide iMessage apps on your iPhone or iPad, freeing up some space and simplifying your messaging experience. Here’s how to do it.

Step 1:

Open the iMessage app on your iPhone or iPad.

Step 2:

Tap on any conversation to open it.

Step 3:

Swipe left until you see the “…” icon and tap on it.

Step 4:

Tap on “Edit” to access the app drawer.

Step 5:

Tap and hold on any app icon that you want to hide.

Step 6:

Drag the app icon to the left until you see the “Hide” option and tap on it.

Step 7:

The app will be hidden from your app drawer. If you want to unhide it, you can do so by tapping on the “More” icon in the app drawer, tapping on “Edit,” and then selecting the app you want to unhide and tapping on “Unhide.”

That’s it! By following these simple steps, you can easily hide or unhide any iMessage app on your iPhone or iPad. This can help to declutter your iMessage app drawer and make it easier to find the apps you actually use. Whether you’re someone who likes to keep their messaging experience simple or just wants to get rid of some unnecessary apps, hiding iMessage apps is a great way to do it.

It’s worth noting that hiding an iMessage app does not delete it from your device, so if you ever want to use it again, you can simply unhide it. Additionally, hiding an iMessage app only hides it from the app drawer in iMessage. The app will still be visible in your overall app library, so you can still access it from there if you need to.

Overall, hiding iMessage apps is a simple and effective way to declutter your messaging experience on your iPhone or iPad. Whether you’re looking to get rid of some unnecessary apps or just want to streamline your messaging experience, hiding iMessage apps is a great solution. Give it a try today and see how it can improve your messaging habits!
