Introduction:
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced the installation of new traffic signals at the intersection of Kindig Lane and High Street in Hanover Borough. The project, scheduled for November 19, 2024, aims to enhance safety and improve traffic flow in the area.

Main Content:
The intersection of Kindig Lane and High Street in Hanover Borough will undergo a significant transformation with the installation of new traffic signals. The project, set to take place from 8 AM to 3 PM on November 19, will involve lane restrictions and the presence of flaggers to direct traffic.

The new signals will replace the existing stop-sign configuration, providing a more efficient and safer means of managing traffic at the busy intersection. Once the installation is complete, the signals will remain in flash mode until the morning of November 21, when they will be fully activated.

PennDOT urges drivers to be alert and obey work zone signs for the safety of the road crews. Travelers are advised to seek alternate routes during the installation to avoid delays.

Conclusion:
The installation of new traffic signals at the intersection of Kindig Lane and High Street marks a significant improvement in traffic management and safety for Hanover Borough. The project reflects PennDOT’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure and ensuring the well-being of the community.
