Introduction:

Ham and cheese sliders are a delicious and easy-to-make party favorite that will have your guests coming back for seconds. These tasty sandwiches are perfect for any occasion, from game day gatherings to family get-togethers. In this article, we will walk you through a simple recipe for making irresistible ham and cheese sliders that everyone will enjoy.

Ingredients:

– 12 slider buns

– 1 pound of thinly sliced ham

– 12 slices of Swiss cheese

– 1/2 cup of mayonnaise

– 1/4 cup of dijon mustard

– 1 tablespoon of honey

– 1/4 cup of melted unsalted butter

– 2 tablespoons of poppy seeds

– 2 tablespoons of minced onion

– 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

2. Make the slider spread by mixing together the mayonnaise, dijon mustard, and honey in a small bowl. Set aside for later use.

3. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and spread a thin layer of the mayo-mustard-honey mixture onto each half.

4. On the bottom halves of the buns, place a slice of ham followed by a slice of Swiss cheese.

5. Place the top halves of the buns on top to create sandwiches.

6. Arrange the sliders on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are placed close together but not touching.

7. In another small bowl, combine melted butter, poppy seeds, minced onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

8. Drizzle this mixture over the top of the sliders, making sure to coat them evenly.

9. Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven. After 10 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and the tops of the buns are golden brown.

10. Remove from the oven and allow them to cool slightly before serving. Use a sharp knife or spatula to separate each slider for easy serving.

Serve these delicious ham and cheese sliders at your next party or get-together, and watch as they quickly disappear. With their savory combination of flavors and easy preparation, these sliders will become a go-to recipe for all your entertaining needs. Enjoy!
