6 Easy Tips to Help Your AeroGarden Thrive

AeroGardens have revolutionized the way we grow plants indoors by providing a convenient, low-maintenance, and space-saving solution. With these six easy tips, you can help your AeroGarden thrive and enjoy fresh herbs, vegetables, and flowers all year round.

1. Proper Placement: Set up your AeroGarden in an area with stable room temperature (between 65-75°F) and away from direct sunlight or drafty windows. Exposure to extreme temperatures can stress the plants and reduce their productivity.

2. Use Quality Seed Pods: Always use high-quality seed pods for your AeroGarden to ensure optimal growth. These pre-seeded pods are specifically designed for successful germination and growth in the AeroGarden.

3. Feed Your Plants: Use the recommended AeroGarden liquid plant food at appropriate intervals; usually every two weeks or when you add water to the reservoir. This provides the essential nutrients your plants need to thrive.

4. Clean the Pump and Tank Regularly: As part of your garden maintenance routine, clean the pump filter and tank every month to avoid buildup of algae or salt deposits from water and nutrients. This ensures efficient circulation of water and nutrients to your plants.

5. Prune Regularly: Pruning promotes healthy growth by encouraging branching, controlling height, and preventing overcrowding. Remove dead leaves or yellowing foliage and trim back tall plants to keep them within the confines of the light hood.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
