The Ford Mustang has been an iconic symbol of American muscle cars since its inception in 1964, and with the New Mustang, Ford has once again set the standard for affordable performance coupes. One of the key areas Ford focused on improving was the interior design and features, making it more comfortable and refined than ever before. In this article, we will explore how Ford made the New Mustang’s interior better than ever.

1. Enhanced Ergonomics and Comfort

Ford prioritized driver comfort with a redesigned layout that places all key controls within easy reach. The seats have been reshaped for increased support, especially during high-speed driving. There is also a new option of leather-trimmed upholstery with high-quality stitching for a premium feel.

2. Advanced Infotainment Technologies

To keep up with the ever-evolving world of technology, Ford equipped the New Mustang with advanced infotainment options to ensure owners can stay connected and entertained while on the road. A standard 8-inch touchscreen display features SYNC 3, Ford’s advanced infotainment system, offering voice command functionality as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

3. Upgraded Sound System

For music lovers, an optional Bang & Olufsen sound system is now available, which boasts 12 speakers and 1000 watts of power to turn the New Mustang into a concert venue on wheels.

4. Improved Storage Spaces

Ford recognized the need for greater storage solutions in previous Mustang models and has incorporated innovative storage compartments throughout the New model’s cabin. A larger glovebox and center console provide ample room for keeping items secure while driving.

5. Adjustable Ambient Lighting

The availability of customizable ambient lighting allows drivers to create a personalized atmosphere within their New Mustang. Drivers can choose from a variety of colors or even select a specific color to match their mood or style preferences.

6. Digital Instrument Cluster

An all-digital 12-inch LCD instrument cluster offers the driver seamless control over vehicle settings and performance data. Customizable layouts can be tailored to the driver’s preferences, ensuring that all necessary information is easily accessible.

7. Emphasis on Quality Materials

To increase the cabin’s premium feel, Ford has carefully selected higher-quality materials for the New Mustang’s interior. Soft-touch plastics and real aluminum accents highlight the dashboard and door panels, emphasizing the car’s upscale character.

In summary, Ford made significant improvements to the New Mustang’s interior to enhance driver and passenger comfort, incorporate the latest infotainment technologies, and create a higher-quality atmosphere overall. The result is an interior that rivals any of its competitors while maintaining the renowned performance we’ve come to know from the iconic Ford Mustang.
