4 Nifty Things Your Apple EarPods Headphones Can Do

Apple’s EarPods headphones may look like any ordinary earbuds, but they pack a lot of features beneath their sleek exterior. If you’re an Apple user, you’re probably already familiar with them and may even have a pair of your own. But you may not know all the cool things that Apple EarPods headphones can do. Here are four nifty things your EarPods can do that you might not know about.

1. Take Photos and Videos

Did you know that you can use the volume button on your EarPods to take photos and videos? Whether you’re taking a selfie or snapping a photo of something in the distance, you don’t have to fumble for the shutter button on your phone. Just press the volume button on your EarPods, and you’re good to go. This trick works with both the front-facing and rear-facing cameras, and it’s especially useful if you’re trying to steady your shot.

2. Activate Siri

Siri is Apple’s voice-activated assistant, and if you have an iPhone or iPad, you’re probably already using it to check the weather, set reminders, and more. But did you know that you can activate Siri with just a button on your EarPods? Press and hold the center button on your EarPods, and Siri will be at your service. This is especially handy if you’re busy cooking or driving and can’t reach your phone.

3. Control Your Music

If you’re listening to music, podcasts, or audiobooks using your EarPods, you don’t have to take your phone out of your pocket to control playback. Press once on the center button to play or pause, twice to skip to the next track, or three times to go back to the previous track. You can also press and hold the center button to activate Siri and ask it to play a specific song or artist.

4. Take Phone Calls

Last but not least, you can use your EarPods to take phone calls without ever touching your phone. When you receive a call, just press the center button once to answer, and again to hang up. And if you want to ignore the call, press and hold the center button for two seconds to decline. You can even use Siri to make calls, by saying something like “Call Mom” or “Dial 555-1212.”

In conclusion, these are just some of the amazing things that your Apple EarPods headphones can do. So if you’re an Apple user and haven’t tried any of these tricks yet, give them a shot! You might just be surprised at how much these tiny earbuds can do.
