In today’s digital world, using convenient payment systems like Square has become increasingly popular. Square allows merchants and individuals to accept payments seamlessly, making transactions faster and more efficient. If you are new to Square or want to make the most out of its features, one of the first things you need to do is link your bank account to the platform. Here are three ways to link your bank account to Square.

1. Linking Through the Square App

The easiest and most straightforward way to link your bank account with Square is through the Square app. Follow these steps:

a. Download and install the Square app on your smartphone or tablet from the App Store or Google Play Store.

b. Open the app and log in with your account credentials.

c. Navigate to the menu by tapping on the three horizontal lines at the top left corner of the screen.

d. Choose ‘Settings’ and then select ‘Linked Accounts’.

e. Tap on ‘Link Bank Account’ and enter your bank details such as your routing number, account number, and account type (checking or savings).

f. Review your information and hit ‘Submit’ to complete the linking process.

2. Linking via Square Dashboard

Another method of linking your bank account with your Square is through their online dashboard on a desktop or laptop computer.

a. Visit https://squareup.com/ in a web browser and log in with your account credentials.

b. On the left side of the dashboard, click on ‘Bank Accounts’.

c. Click on ‘Link Bank Account’ and provide your bank details such as routing number, account number, and account type (checking or savings).

d. Review your information and click ‘Submit’ to complete the linking process.

3. Contact Customer Support

If you’re facing difficulties using either of the previous methods or require assistance during any part of the process, contacting Square customer support is your best bet.

a. Visit this page https://squareup.com/help/us/en/contact in a web browser.

b. Log in with your account credentials.

c. Choose ‘Banking’ as the topic from the drop-down menu.

d. Choose ‘Link Bank Account’ as the subtopic.

e. In the ‘Contact Support’ section, you can either chat, email, or request a callback from Square’s customer support team. Select your preferred method and provide them with the relevant details.

In conclusion, linking your bank account to Square is an essential step in making full use of their platform. With these three easy methods, you’ll be well on your way to seamless transactions, benefiting from swift and secure payments enabled by Square.
