Slow cookers are the ultimate convenience, allowing you to prepare everything in advance and let it cook without supervision. Here are 10 easy and delicious slow-cooker recipes for your next party:

1. Classic Beef Stew: Tender chunks of beef, carrots, potatoes, and onions stewed in a rich sauce made with beef broth, tomato paste, and a touch of Worcestershire sauce.

2. BBQ Pulled Pork: Succulent pork shoulder slow-cooked with a tangy BBQ sauce until it’s fall-apart tender. Serve on buns with coleslaw.

3. Creamy Chicken Alfredo: A simple party dish where chicken breast is cooked slow and steady in a creamy Alfredo sauce. Serve over pasta or rice.

4. Vegetarian Chili: A hearty blend of beans, bell peppers, tomatoes, and chili spices. It’s a crowd-pleaser even for meat lovers.

5. Spinach and Artichoke Dip: Creamy, cheesy, and full of flavor – this dip is perfect for scooping up with tortilla chips or crusty bread.

6. Swedish Meatballs: Small meatballs in a rich and creamy gravy. These are great as an appetizer or served over egg noodles for a more substantial dish.

7. Buffalo Chicken Dip: Shredded chicken is combined with hot sauce, cream cheese, ranch dressing, and melted cheese – a decadent dip that tastes just like buffalo wings.

8. Jambalaya: A Southern staple featuring chicken, sausage, shrimp cooked in a Creole-spiced tomato sauce with rice – bursting with flavor.

9. Sausage & Peppers: A simple dish of Italian sausages cooked with bell peppers and onions in a seasoned tomato sauce – great as a hoagie filling or served over polenta.

10. Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs: Chicken thighs cooked until they are incredibly tender in a sweet and savory sauce made from honey, garlic, soy sauce, and ketchup.

Cooking these dishes in a slow cooker ensures that they’re not only easy but also full of flavor – perfect for feeding a hungry crowd at your next gathering!

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
