You Can Now Buy and Sell Crypto on eToro: Here’s How

eToro, a popular social trading platform, has recently added the ability to buy and sell cryptocurrencies to its list of available assets. This move has been highly anticipated by cryptocurrency traders and investors who have been looking for an all-in-one platform to manage their portfolios.

The platform currently offers 15 different cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin, as well as a variety of other altcoins. With eToro, users can buy and sell these digital currencies with ease, using either their USD balance or a range of other fiat currencies.

So, how can you get started buying and selling cryptocurrencies on eToro? It’s surprisingly easy. Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Create an account

The first step is to create an account on eToro. This process is quick and easy, requiring just a few basic details such as your name, email address, and phone number.

Step 2: Verify your identity

Once you’ve created an account, you’ll need to verify your identity. This is a required step for all financial transactions and is done by submitting a government-issued ID, such as a passport or driver’s license, and a proof of address such as a utility bill or bank statement.

Step 3: Fund your account

To start buying and selling cryptocurrencies, you’ll need to fund your eToro account. You can do this by depositing funds using a range of payment methods, such as credit card, debit card, bank transfer, and e-wallets such as PayPal or Skrill.

Step 4: Buy and sell cryptocurrencies

Once you’ve funded your account, you’re ready to start trading cryptocurrencies on eToro. Navigate to the section labeled “Crypto” on the platform and select the cryptocurrency you’d like to trade. You can then choose to buy or sell the currency, along with setting your desired investment amount and stop-loss orders to manage your risk.
eToro also offers a social trading feature that allows users to see what other traders are doing and copying their trades. This is a great way to learn from more experienced traders and make informed investment decisions.
