Amazon Echo Show is a popular smart display that has revolutionized the way people interact with technology in their homes. With so many different models available on the market, choosing the right one can be a daunting task. In this article, we’ll take a look at the different Amazon Echo Show models and help you decide which one is right for you.

Amazon Echo Show (1st Generation)

The first-generation Echo Show was launched in 2017, and it was a significant improvement over the original Amazon Echo. It featured a 7-inch touchscreen display, stereo speakers, and a built-in camera. With this model, users could use voice commands to control their smart home devices and make video calls using the built-in camera.

While the first generation Echo Show was a great product at the time, it has since been surpassed by newer models. It’s worth noting that this model is no longer available on Amazon.

Amazon Echo Show 5

The Amazon Echo Show 5 is the smallest and most affordable smart display in the Echo Show lineup. It features a 5.5-inch touchscreen display, a camera with a built-in shutter for privacy, and a decent speaker for listening to music and interacting with Alexa. Although it’s smaller than other models, it’s still a good option for those who want a smart display but don’t have much space.

One of the main advantages of the Echo Show 5 is its price. It’s the cheapest model in the Echo Show lineup, making it a great option for those on a budget.

Amazon Echo Show 8

The Amazon Echo Show 8 is a mid-range model that sits between the Echo Show 5 and Echo Show 10. The 8-inch touchscreen display is larger than the Echo Show 5 but smaller than the Echo Show 10, making it a great option for those who want a larger display but don’t want to pay the premium price.

Similar to the Echo Show 5, the Echo Show 8 has a camera with a built-in shutter for privacy, and it also features stereo speakers that provide excellent sound quality. With the Echo Show 8, you’ll be able to enjoy movies, TV shows, and music with ease.

Amazon Echo Show 10 (3rd Generation)

The Amazon Echo Show 10 is the most advanced smart display in the Echo Show lineup. It comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen display that can rotate, allowing you to view content from any angle. This model also has a powerful woofer and two 1-inch tweeters, giving it the best audio quality of any Echo Show model.

One of the unique features of the Echo Show 10 is the ability to follow you around the room. With its built-in motorized base, the display can rotate to keep you centered during video calls or while watching a movie. This feature is incredibly convenient, as it means you won’t have to stay in one spot while using the device.

Conclusion

Choosing the right Amazon Echo Show model mainly depends on your needs and budget. If you want the most affordable option, the Echo Show 5 is a great choice. If you want a larger display that’s still budget-friendly, the Echo Show 8 is a good option. For those who want the best audio and video quality, the Echo Show 10 is the way to go. Whatever your choice, the Amazon Echo Show is an excellent addition to any smart home.
