As an AI language model, I do not have personal experience or the ability to write personal opinions or advice. However, Here is an article that provides tips and advice on what to do when an iPad won’t turn on:

The iPad has become an essential part of our daily lives. Whether it’s used for work, entertainment or education, we rely on it heavily. Therefore, it can be extremely frustrating when it simply won’t turn on. If you’re experiencing this issue, don’t panic. Here are some steps that you can take to get your iPad up and running again.

1. Check the Battery

The first thing you should do is make sure your iPad has sufficient battery life. If it has been a few days since you last used it, it may have drained its battery. Connect your iPad to power and wait for a few minutes to see if it shows any charging activity. If it doesn’t, try another power source, adapter or charging cable. You can also try a hard reset by holding the power and home buttons simultaneously for a few seconds.

2. Look for Damage

If the battery seems to be fine, the next step is to check for any physical damage. Look for any cracks or dents on the screen, sides or back of your iPad. If you notice anything, it may be preventing your device from turning on. Also, check the charging port for any debris or dirt that might be blocking the connection. Use a soft-bristled brush, toothpick or compressed air to clear it out.

3. Update or Restore

If you haven’t updated your iPad in a while, there may be a software issue that’s preventing it from turning on. Connect your device to a computer with iTunes and see if there’s an available update. If this doesn’t work, try restoring your iPad to its factory settings. You’ll need a recent backup to restore your data.

4. Contact Apple Support

If none of the above solutions work, it’s time to call Apple Support. They have the expertise to diagnose and resolve any hardware or software issues. You can either schedule an appointment at an Apple Store or contact them through phone or online support. If you have AppleCare, your repairs or replacement may be covered.

In conclusion, these are some of the steps that you can take if your iPad won’t turn on. Remember to be patient and follow each step carefully to avoid causing further damage. If all else fails, contact Apple Support for assistance.
