What Is TikTok LIVE Subscription and How Does It Work?

TikTok has revolutionized the way we interact with social media, and now, it has taken it up a notch with TikTok LIVE Subscription. TikTok LIVE Subscription is TikTok’s premium feature that allows users to go live, but with a twist.

With TikTok LIVE Subscription, creators can go live on TikTok and earn money in real-time. It is an excellent monetization tool that allows influencers, creators, and businesses to make money directly from their TikTok content.

How does TikTok LIVE Subscription work?

To start using TikTok LIVE Subscription, you need to meet two primary requirements: You must be 18 years or older, and you must have at least 1000 followers. If you meet these requirements, you can apply for TikTok LIVE Subscription by following these steps:

  1. Go to the TikTok app, click on your profile, and click on the three dots on the top right-hand corner of your page.
  2. Click on the “Privacy and Settings” option.
  3. Click on the “Creators Fund” option.
  4. Click the “Apply” button to start the application process for TikTok LIVE Subscription.

Once you have been approved for TikTok LIVE Subscription, you can start going live on TikTok. But how do you make money from TikTok LIVE Subscription? Suppose your TikTok followers purchase virtual gifts while you are live. In that case, you can earn Diamond, which is TikTok’s in-app currency. One hundred Diamonds is worth $1, and you can convert your Diamonds into real money and transfer them to your account.

What are virtual gifts, and how do they work?

Virtual gifts are items that TikTok users can purchase during a live stream to send to the creator as a way of support or appreciation. These virtual gifts can range from emojis to more expensive virtual items like diamonds, airplanes, and cars. The more expensive the virtual gift, the higher the value in Diamonds.

Virtual gifts are purchased via TikTok’s in-app purchase function, and users can buy them using real money. When a viewer sends a creator a virtual gift, TikTok takes a 50% cut of the value of the gift, and the creator receives the other 50% in the form of Diamonds.
