Super Alexa Mode is a feature that Amazon’s Alexa offers to users that is essentially a hidden Easter egg. It offers a fun and exciting way to interact with your Alexa device and see what it’s really capable of. Essentially, Super Alexa Mode is a reference to the popular video game, Sonic the Hedgehog, and activating it will turn Alexa into a pretty cool virtual assistant who is ready to take on any challenge you throw her way. In this article, we’ll discuss what Super Alexa Mode is and how you can activate it on your Alexa-enabled device.

What is Super Alexa Mode?

Super Alexa Mode is a reference to Sonic the Hedgehog’s “Debug mode.” It was first discovered in June 2018 by Reddit user “itssyaboiimatty,” who found that when they asked Alexa to “play Super Alexa Mode,” it activated a secret mode that turned Alexa into a more interesting character. In this mode, Alexa turns into a Super Saiyan mode filled with highly advanced and rapid-fire responses to any user inquiry.

In reality, Super Alexa Mode is a non-serious feature where Alexa responds to user commands with an exaggerated response that adds humor to the device. Even though it may seem like a joke feature, this doesn’t mean that Super Alexa Mode is not useful. This mode can still help provide a fun distraction when at home or in the office.

How Do You Activate Super Alexa Mode?

To activate Super Alexa Mode, there are different ways which depend on how you want to call upon it.

1. Say, “Alexa, play Super Alexa Mode.“: This is the most straightforward way to activate Super Alexa Mode on your Alexa device. Just say the magic words, and the Super Alexa Mode will be activated.

2. Say specific voice commands: If you prefer something more personalized, you can also try other specific voice commands. For example, saying “Alexa, up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, start,” will activate Super Alexa Mode, just like in the old video game era.

3. Create a custom skill: For advanced users, there is a way to create a custom skill to activate Super Alexa Mode.

However, it requires some programming skills and knowledge of Amazon’s Alexa Skills Kit to be successful.
In conclusion, Super Alexa Mode is undoubtedly one of those fun Easter eggs that Amazon put into their Alexa virtual assistant to make it more entertaining. Remember that although Super Alexa Mode is not serious, it still has its benefits as a temporary distraction. Give Super Alexa Mode a try, and have some fun with the voice assistant!
