Google is one of the most popular search engines in the world, and it has been instrumental in simplifying various day-to-day tasks that individuals undertake. One such tool that Google provides is the Google Task Manager. It is a free tool that allows users to manage their tasks in a more efficient and organized way. In this article, we will discuss what Google Task Manager is and how to use it.

What is Google Task Manager?

Google Task Manager is a free task management tool offered by Google. It is a simple but powerful tool that helps users manage their tasks easily. The tool comes with an intuitive interface that allows users to create, organize and track their to-do lists, notes, and reminders from a single place. It can be accessed through Google Chrome extension, Gmail, and Google Calendar.

How to use Google Task Manager?

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to use Google Task Manager:

  1. Add Google Task Manager extension to Chrome

The first step is to get the Google Task Manager extension for Chrome. To do this, open the Chrome web store, search for Google Task Manager, and then click on the ‘Add to Chrome’ button. Once installed, the Google Task Manager icon will appear in your extensions or toolbar.

  1. Open Google Task Manager

To open Google Task Manager, click on its icon located in the extensions or bookmarks bar.

  1. Create a task

To create a task, click on the ‘Add a task’ button located at the bottom of the screen. Enter the task name and any relevant details, set a due date and click ‘Save’ to add your task.

  1. Organize your tasks

Google Task Manager allows you to organize your tasks in different ways. You can drag and drop tasks to different lists, create subtasks, and add due dates.

  1. Set reminders

To set reminders, click on the task and click on the pencil icon. Then, click on ‘Add a date and time’ and set the reminder time.

  1. Sync with Google Calendar

Google Task Manager can be integrated with Google Calendar. To do this, go to the Google Calendar settings, select ‘Tasks’, and enable ‘Display tasks in my calendar’.
