We Tested 13 Orange Juices To Find The Best Ones For Breakfast

Breakfast is said to be the most important meal of the day, and for many of us, it isn’t complete without a refreshing glass of orange juice. But with so many options on grocery store shelves, how do you choose the best one? Our team took on the challenge to test 13 different brands of orange juice to help you select the ideal companion for your morning toast or cereal.

From high-pulp to no-pulp, from concentrate to fresh-squeezed, we left no carton unturned. Our criteria ranged from sweetness and tartness balance, to texture, and even packaging convenience. We considered nutritional content as well—paying close attention to vitamin C levels and added sugars.

Our taste test revealed a significant range in quality among the different brands. Some juices tasted freshly squeezed even though they were from concentrate, while others tasted overly sweetened or artificial despite claiming to be ‘100% pure’.

A few lesser-known brands surprised us with their rich flavors and pulp consistency that closely mimicked freshly squeezed juice. Conversely, some of the best-selling juices disappointed us with their watery taste and lack of natural orange flavor.

The top-performing juices struck a harmonious balance between sweetness and tartness. These juices had a vibrant color, a smooth but natural texture, and came as close as possible to the sensation of drinking juice straight from an orange.

In conclusion, our comprehensive testing showed that price doesn’t always guarantee quality in the world of orange juice. We recommend looking beyond brand names and trying out some underdogs next time you shop. Keep an eye out for our detailed rankings and notes on each juice tested to make your next breakfast choice as informed as possible.”

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
