Sound is an important aspect of any computer system, and it’s necessary to keep it in good working order. Sound settings on a Windows PC need to be adjusted from time to time, whether it’s adjusting volume levels or testing playing sounds. To open sound settings on a Windows PC, there are several methods:

  1. Through the Taskbar – Right-click on the speaker icon in the taskbar, and select “Open Sound settings”. This will open the sound settings page of the Windows Settings app.
  2. Using the Settings App – Open the “Settings” app from the Start menu or press the “Windows + I” keys. From there, navigate to the “System” settings section and select “Sound”. This will open the sound settings.
  3. Using the Run Box – Press “Windows + R” keys to open the Run box. Type “mmsys.cpl” in the Run box and press “Enter”. This will directly open the Sound settings box.
  4. Using the Control Panel – Open the Control Panel from the Start menu and select “Hardware and Sound”. Under the “Sound” section, select “Manage audio devices” to open the Sound settings page.
  5. Using the Search Bar – Click on the “Search” bar on the taskbar and type “Sound settings” in the search box. Select “Sound settings” from the search results. Alternatively, you can type “sound” in the search box and select “Sound settings” from the results.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
