Windows 11 is the latest operating system from Microsoft, set to launch soon. With many new features and improvements from its predecessor, it provides a better user experience. One of the essential tools in Windows 11 is the Resource Monitor that keeps track of system resources, such as disk, CPU, memory, network, and other important performance data. In this article, we will discuss the ways to open the Resource Monitor in Windows 11.

Method 1: Using Task Manager

The first and easiest method to access the Resource Monitor is via the Task Manager. You can open the Task Manager by pressing the “Ctrl+Shift+Esc” keys combination. Alternatively, you can right-click on the taskbar and select “Task Manager.”

Once the Task Manager is open, select the “Performance” tab and click on the “Open Resource Monitor” link on the bottom of the page. This will launch the Resource Monitor.

Method 2: Using Run Command

Another way to open the Resource Monitor in Windows 11 is by using the Run command. To do this, press the “Win+R” keys combination, which opens the Run dialog box. Then, type “resmon” in the text field and press the “Enter” key or click on the “OK” button.

This will open the Resource Monitor immediately.

Method 3: Using Command Prompt

The third option to launch the Resource Monitor is by using the Command Prompt. Open the Command Prompt as an administrator by right-clicking on the Start menu and selecting “Windows PowerShell (Admin)” or “Command Prompt (Admin).”

In the Command Prompt dialog box, type “resmon.exe” and press the “Enter” key. This will open the Resource Monitor.

Method 4: Using Windows Search

Windows 11 provides a helpful search function that you can use to find all manner of apps and tools, including the Resource Monitor. You can access the search bar by clicking on the Start button or pressing the “Win” logo key.

Type “Resource Monitor” in the search bar, and then select the option that appears in the search results. Alternatively, you can use the voice assistant Cortana to initiate a search.

In conclusion, Windows 11 offers a range of ways to access the Resource Monitor, from Task Manager to Command Prompt. These tools will help you keep an eye on the performance of your computer and troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently. Try them out on your Windows 11 machine and see which one works best for you!
