Verizon has been rolling out its 5G network across the United States and is currently available in several cities. This new technology is capable of providing lightning-fast internet speeds, which will undoubtedly revolutionize the way we use our devices and interact with the internet.

So, when and where can you get Verizon 5G? Let’s find out.

Firstly, it’s important to note that Verizon 5G is not yet available everywhere. The company is gradually expanding the coverage as it upgrades its network infrastructure, and the process is expected to take a few years.

Currently, Verizon 5G is available in select parts of the following cities:

1. Atlanta

2. Chicago

3. Denver

4. Detroit

5. Houston

6. Indianapolis

7. Los Angeles

8. Memphis

9. Miami

10. Minneapolis

11. New York City

12. Phoenix

13. Sacramento

14. San Diego

15. San Francisco

16. St. Paul

17. Washington, D.C.

If you’re located in any of these cities, you can check if Verizon 5G is available in your area by visiting the company’s website or using the My Verizon app.

It’s also important to note that Verizon offers two types of 5G networks – Ultra Wideband and Nationwide 5G. The Ultra Wideband 5G is the fastest and currently available in select parts of the above-listed cities. It’s ideal for users who require high speeds for activities such as streaming, gaming, and large file downloads.

Nationwide 5G, on the other hand, is available in over 1,800 cities and towns across the United States. However, it provides slower speeds compared to Ultra Wideband 5G and is designed for users who need regular internet speeds for browsing, email, and social media.

To enjoy Verizon 5G, you’ll need a 5G enabled device. Currently, the company offers several 5G capable smartphones, including the Samsung Galaxy S20, the OnePlus 8, and the LG V60 ThinQ. You can also opt to purchase Verizon’s 5G hotspot device, which allows you to connect up to 15 devices and enjoy fast internet speeds while on the move.

In conclusion, Verizon 5G is available in select parts of several cities across the United States, and the company is gradually expanding its coverage. If you’re located in these areas and require fast internet speeds for your day-to-day activities, it’s worth checking if Verizon 5G is available in your area and upgrading to a 5G enabled device to enjoy this new technology.
